DEE Assam LP & UP Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 228 Special Educator Posts

The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam has released two official notifications for the recruitment of 228 Special Educators in Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) schools. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official portal.

Total Vacancies: 228

Vacancy Distribution

(i) Lower Primary (LP) Schools: 120 posts

(ii) Upper Primary (UP) Schools: 108 posts

Pay Scale

(i) LP Schools: Pay Band – 2 (₹14,000 – ₹70,000) + Grade Pay ₹7,400/-

(ii) UP Schools: Pay Band – 2 (₹14,000 – ₹70,000) + Grade Pay ₹8,700/-

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 1st August 2025)

Unreserved: 18 – 40 years
Ex-Servicemen: up to 42 years
OBC/MOBC: up to 43 years
SC/ST(P)/ST(H): up to 45 years
PwD: up to 50 years

Small Family Norms

Applicants with more than two living children on or after 01.01.2021 will not be eligible as per the Government’s Small Family Norms policy.

Citizenship

The candidate must be an Indian citizen (as per Articles 5–8 of the Constitution of India) and a permanent resident of Assam.

Educational Qualification

For Special Educator – LP Schools:

Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education), recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

Must possess a valid ATET/CTET certificate for LP Schools.

For Special Educator – UP Schools:

Graduate degree with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education), recognized by RCI.

Must possess a valid ATET/CTET certificate for UP Schools.

Medium of Instruction

Either Language-I or Language-II in the candidate’s ATET/CTET must match the medium of instruction of the school applied for.

Submit the form.
